Frequently asked questions
How long will it take to receive our video?
Most couples receive their finished wedding film within 3–4 months. During peak season, this can occasionally take a little longer as each film is carefully edited by hand rather than rushed.
To give you something to look back on sooner, you’ll receive a teaser film within 14 days of your wedding, so you can relive some of those moments while the full film is being completed.
Do you travel, and is there a fee?
I’m based in Aberdeen and travel is included for locations within 90 minutes. For weddings further afield, a small mileage fee will apply.
If you’ve booked the Champagne package and your wedding is outside of Aberdeen city, I do require overnight accommodation on the night of the wedding, as travelling back late isn’t advised for safety reasons.
Can we choose the music?
Due to copyright laws, I’m unable to use client-requested music in your wedding film. However, I carefully select licensed music that complements the feel of your day and suits the story naturally.
If you have a particular style or vibe in mind, you’re very welcome to share that with me and I’ll take it into account when choosing the soundtrack.
Do you use drones?
Not currently, but I’m planning to start using a drone in the near future to capture even more cinematic shots of your wedding day.
How do we book you?
To secure your date, simply get in touch via the contact form on my website or by email, and I’ll confirm my availability. If I’m free, I’ll send over a booking form and contract for you to review.
A deposit is required to lock in your date, with the remaining balance due closer to the wedding. Once that’s all sorted, you’re officially booked in.
Do we meet before the wedding?
Yes, we do. We’ll usually have an initial chat when you book, and then meet again a few weeks before the wedding to run through all the details.
I’m also available at any time in the lead-up if you have any questions or need any advice.
